Description:
Center Ceramics Pottery Studio in Chelmsford, Ma is seeking an experienced and dedicated instructor to join our growing pottery studio. The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging demonstrations on the pottery wheel as well as some handbuilding and sculptural techniques. This role involves instructing beginner level adult and teen students. We appreciate instructors to foster a positive, weing learning environment that promotes creativity, and skill development. Instructors work with management to create curriculum content, manage projects efficiently, and inspire students in the studio.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities Must be reliable Develop and implement 8 week lesson plans tailored to different skill levels. Create strong foundation for students to continue enrolling in class. Deliver engaging instruction. Ensure a safe, weing and creative learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to amodate students with specific needs or varying learning styles. Maintain a positive rapport with students and staff. Skills Some experience in teaching adults in a studio setting. Excellentmunication and classroom management skills. Working knowledge of a pottery studio and safety precautions. Ability to adapt teaching styles for different types of learners. Passion for inspiring students through innovative instruction and engaging demonstrations. Loading/unloading kilns helpful but not necessary.
