(Please note: we already offer dance and improv as part of our core programming.) About the
Camp:
Page to Stage is an exciting theatre experience where campers collaborate to devise, rehearse, and perform an original play. The program emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, culminating in a performance for families and friends. Throughout the week, we offer specialty workshops to campers that enrich their theatre knowledge. Summer Page to Stage Camp 2026
Dates:
Session 1: August 3-7 Session 2: August 10-14 Session 3: August 17-21
Camp Hours:
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Guest artists will only be teaching for an hour block during camp hours, and ideally they would teach 2 classes each session) Ideal candidates will: Have experience teaching children in a camp or classroom setting Have a college degree in a performance or art related field. Be collaborative, flexible, and comfortable improvising with young artists Bring strong communication and classroom management skills Embrace the playful, inclusive spirit of River's Edge Theatre Co. Have the ability to teach a specialty class such as circus arts, clowning, puppetry, music, etc. Other theatre related workshop ideas are welcome!
Responsibilities:
Lead a one hour bi-weekly workshop in your area of expertise Foster a supportive, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment Assist with camp logistics and supervision as needed
