Drama Teacher Position Category Teaching - High School Position Type Full Time Drama Teacher Posting Start Date 3/24/2026 Posting End Date 5/22/2026 Position Start Date 8/3/2026 School District Harding Fine Arts Academy City, State Oklahoma , OK United States Description Harding Fine Arts Academy is searching for a full time Drama Teacher. The drama teacher is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can develop their theatrical skills, express their creativity, and gain a deeper understanding of the dramatic arts. As a Drama Teacher, you will design and deliver drama lessons, organize performances, provide constructive feedback to students, and foster a passion for theater in your students.
Preferred Qualifications Qualifications and Skills:
1. Degree in Drama, Theater Arts, Performing Arts, or a related field. 2.Prior experience in teaching drama, directing performances, or working in theater. 3.In-depth knowledge of drama techniques, acting methods, and theatrical production processes. 4.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students. 5.Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. 6.Organizational and time management skills to plan lessons and coordinate productions effectively. 7.Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for drama and the performing arts. 8.Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to students. 9.Familiarity with relevant technology, audiovisual equipment, and theatrical software.
