This teacher will be instructing

at our school. We are looking for a teacher who can start with us for the Fall 2026 school year.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in Mariachi performance and instruction Ability to teach both group mariachi classes and private one-on-one lessons Strong knowledge of traditional mariachi styles, repertoire, and instrumentation Ability to lead and guide ensemble rehearsals with confidence and clarity Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and professional

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience directing or assisting a mariachi ensemble Ability to teach one or more mariachi instruments (e.g., violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, guitarrón, voice) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities:

Lead weekly group mariachi classes Provide engaging and structured private lessons Prepare students for performances, recitals, or community events Foster a fun, inclusive, and educational learning environment Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-$32/hour.
