As a vital member of our creative education team, you will design engaging dance programs, foster a love for movement, and cultivate technical skills in a supportive environment. Your passion for ballet and commitment to student development will help students achieve their personal best while enjoying the beauty of dance. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive ballet curriculum tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating fundamental techniques and artistic expression Lead dynamic ballet classes that promote proper form, posture, flexibility, strength, and coordination Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a positive, disciplined, and inclusive environment for all students Provide personalized coaching and feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence Plan and organize performances or showcases to showcase student progress and celebrate achievements Incorporate elements of theater, choreography, and musicality into lesson plans to enrich the dance experience Support students' overall development by integrating early childhood education principles, behavior management strategies, and childhood development insights Skills Extensive knowledge of ballet techniques, choreography, and performance practices Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners Proven experience in teaching ballet or dance classes across various age groups, including children, preschoolers, and adults Excellent classroom management skills to foster discipline while encouraging creativity and self-expression Ability to work with children with special needs or those requiring additional support through specialized teaching methods Familiarity with photography for documenting performances or student progress; sewing skills for costume adjustments are a plus Experience in theater arts or performing arts education enhances your ability to create engaging dance narratives Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and preschool experience is highly desirable Join us in shaping the next generation of dancers by sharing your expertise in ballet while creating a vibrant community centered on movement, artistry, and growth.
