Description:

The instructor will design and implement an elementary camp experience in which students engage with various forms of available maker tools and supplies.

JOB GOAL

To teach students according to county and state policy, mission, core beliefs, academic goals, and target areas by facilitating student learning and creation using audiovisual tolls and software.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
• Completion of a successful background check.
• Demonstrated ability to provide successful instruction
• Demonstrated ability to provide differentiated instruction and intervention to students exhibiting a wide range of abilities and behaviors.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Possess demonstrated experience or ability to design instruction and engaging activities utilizing audiovisual tools such as but not limited to Padcaster, iPad, WeVideo, iMovie, Screencastify, etc…)
• Any additional combination of training or experience which would lead to successful employment as an Elementary Teacher.

• Work with parents, guardians, families and community entities to support student learning and well-being.
• Promote practices and policies that improve the school environment and student learning.
• Provide measurable progress of student learning of state-approved curricula.
• Demonstrate professional conduct as defined in law, policy and procedure at the state, district, and school level.
