Driving Instructor

Job Summary Legacy Driving Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Driving Instructor to provide high-quality, one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction. In this role, you will teach traffic laws, safe driving practices, and defensive driving techniques while helping students become confident, responsible drivers. You will create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that builds confidence, strong work ethic, and lifelong safe driving habits. The ideal candidate is patient, professional, and an excellent communicator committed to delivering a positive and enjoyable learning experience for every student. Responsibilities Deliver engaging driving lessons to students of all skill levels, ensuring they develop safe driving habits and confidence on the road Assess each student's progress and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement Prepare students for licensing exams by reviewing traffic laws, safety procedures, and practical driving skills Maintain detailed records of lessons, student progress, and attendance in accordance with company policies Communicate clearly with students about expectations, safety protocols, and driving techniques Stay updated on local driving laws and industry best practices to ensure instruction remains current and compliant Experience Paid Training is provided for this position. Proven experience in driving, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Prior teaching experience, especially in adult education or classroom settings, is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage classroom environments confidently and professionally Experience working with diverse student populations, including beginners and adult learners Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently Familiarity with traffic laws, safety standards, and vehicle operation principles is essential Join us in empowering new drivers with the skills they need for a lifetime of safe driving!
