Duties Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles such as buses and shuttles vehicles to transport passengers. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness, including checking mechanical components and vehicle systems. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, answering questions, and ensuring a comfortable experience. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and vehicle maintenance needs in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using clear communication skills to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly. Perform routine maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues to ensure vehicles remain in optimal condition. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger. Proven experience in commercial driving, bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driving roles. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Experience with paratransit services or motor coach operations is a plus. Customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs professionally. Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to bus or shuttle fleets is desirable.
