• 25 hrs/week) and Full time (28+ hrs/week) positions available. Our greatest need is Monday
• Friday after 12pm and sunrise to sunset on Saturday and Sunday.

Flexible hours, but most students are available after school or work or on weekends and holidays. Initial paid training is for 3-5 weeks to develop your training skill with our leadership team & shadow live instructors with their students, while working towards completion of California's Driving Instruction Certificate. Compensation is paid by the lesson, between $21 to $23/hr while instructing. We also pay travel time between lessons. Travel time is paid at $16.90/hr and is usually no longer than 20 minutes to each client. Our lessons are 90 minutes each with few exceptions. A typical work day is three 90-minute lessons across 6 1/2 to 8 hours. Ideally candidates should live within 20 minutes of our Office in Folsom.

Minimum requirements:

• Calm, approachable attitude
• Comfortable working with all ages & backgrounds
• 25 years old or older, as required to possess the Driving Instruction Certificate
• California Driver License
• Clean driving record with 5 or more years of driving experience
• Dependable transportation
• Criminal background check
• Medical exam & drug test
• Teaching/coaching/mentoring experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain Driving Instruction Certificate within 45 days of job offer Things that impress us:
• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year state university or better
• Backgrounds in Education, Sports, Civil Service, Government, Law Enforcement & Military
• CDL or other professional driving experience
• Familiar & proficient with basic vehicle maintenance (changing a tire, checking tire air pressure, etc)
