  • $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Student supervision CPR Certification Child Development Early Childhood Education Full Job Description We are looking for a Fully Qualified Infant Teacher/ Driver, 12 Units in Child Development plus 3 units of infant toddler care.
We have been serving our community for over 20 years. If you are passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on the lives of young children, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for Infants to learn and grow.
  • Ensure the children's safety through constant supervision with awareness of proper teacher vs. child ratios in the classroom not just during lessons but during nap and coverage for breaks and lunches.
  • Proper maintenance of equipment is essential, make sure all unsafe objects, broken toys are removed and out of children's reach.
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
  • Plan and implement age appropriate small group arts and crafts, language, and small manipulative activities.
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns or updates.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Creating Progression Charts:
    Logging of children through photos, documentation and the children's artistic creations.
  • Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs and storytelling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom/bathroom.
  • Be familiar with health and safety emergency procedures.
  • Picking up school age children from school and bring them back to the facility.
Requirements / Qualifications
Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable Certification in child and infant CPR Please email a resume, copy of transcript(s) showing 12 ECE units (unofficial is acceptable), and your philosophy to Please submit your transcripts and resume highlighting your relevant experience.
