Qualifications Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and five (5) years of experience in the operation of a school bus. Licenses; Certificates;
Special Requirements:
A valid California Class B driver's license with a passenger and school bus endorsement, a good driving record and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy. A valid School Bus Driver Instructor certificate issued by state Department of Education, with no instructional limitations. A valid First Aid certificate or Special School Bus Driver certificate without restriction. A valid Department of Transportation biannual physical examination. A valid Special School Bus Driver's certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. Upon acceptance of the District's offer of employment, new hires may be required to complete a baseline physical examination prior to the first day of employment. In order for your application to be considered, the following documents must be attached to your Edjoin application. Certificate Copy (California Special School Bus Driver Certificate issued by the CHP (must be attached at time of application)) Certification (A valid School Bus Driver Instructor certificate issued by state Department of Education, with no instructional limitations.)
