Martial Arts Instructor - Full-Time & Part-Time | San Diego, CA United States Karate Academy | 3191 Sports Arena Blvd, Suite E, San Diego, CA 92110 About Us At United States Karate Academy (USKA), we develop more than martial artists — we develop leaders. Through discipline, focus, respect, and continuous self-improvement, we've built a thriving school and a team that genuinely loves what they do. As we continue to grow, we're looking for passionate, reliable Martial Arts Instructors to help us make an impact on students of all ages. What You'll Do Lead engaging, structured martial arts classes for children and adults Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff Deliver our proven curriculum and communication system with confidence Teach in after-school and community programs as needed Support student enrollments, renewals, and front-desk customer interactions Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming training environment Participate in special events, belt testings, and select weekend programs What We're Looking For Prior martial arts experience preferred — but we will train the right person Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor Natural ability to connect with children and families Comfortable following structured systems and memorizing teaching scripts Weekend availability required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer Starting pay: $20/hour and up (based on experience) Performance-based bonus opportunities Flexible scheduling (full-time and part-time available) Employee discount on USKA programs Health, dental, and vision insurance (eligible employees) A positive, supportive team culture where instructors grow alongside their students Schedule 4-8 hour shifts Occasional weekends To Apply Submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you'd be a great fit at USKA.
