Summer Instructor Elementary 4 weeks

Summer Camp Instructors needed to lead our Outdoor Explorers and Yoga Mindfulness program at Able Charter School for June 17-July 17. We are looking for educators who will share our passion for the outdoors, movement, positive encouragement and making a difference in the lives of students. We are hiring enthusiastic individuals for Summer camp, June 16- July 17 in Able Charter School. We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds who love fostering learning and fun, and have solid experience working with Outdoor Education and environmental programming. We offer competitive pay for the right instructors and are looking for instructors who ideally have teaching experience. The Outdoor Explorers program promotes students to interact in an outdoor setting and become stewards of their environment with engaging activities that focus on mindfulness practices while building environmental awareness, outdoor skills and leadership development. The Yoga Mindfulness program introduces students to positive self talk and beginner yoga poses. We will provide training, daily curriculum, games and materials for each class. Students are in a class ratio of 1:20.

What you will be doing:

Lead the class for students that incorporates mindfulness with environmental stewardship.

Experience working with groups of kids Teachers and Educators with effective group management skills Energetic, kind, and patient personality Punctual and reliable, with access to a reliable form of transportation What your schedule will look like: Monday through Friday, hours 8:30-1:30.
