Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Instructor, CDL A to join our team and inspire the next generation of professional truck drivers. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive classroom and behind-the-wheel training to aspiring commercial drivers, ensuring they gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel in the trucking industry. Your expertise will help shape responsible, safe, and skilled drivers who meet industry standards and company expectations. Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom instruction on topics such as air brake systems, tanker operations, and commercial driving regulations Conduct hands-on training in tractor-trailer operations, emphasizing safety protocols and best practices Assess student progress through evaluations, practical driving tests, and continuous feedback Develop lesson plans aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements for commercial driver training Maintain a safe learning environment by enforcing safety policies during all training activities Keep detailed records of student attendance, performance, and certifications achieved Stay current with industry updates, CDL regulations, and training techniques to ensure high-quality instruction Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers Demonstrated knowledge of air brake systems, tanker operations, and commercial driving regulations Prior experience in teaching or adult education, preferably in a classroom or hands-on setting Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage adult learners Proven ability to develop instructional materials and conduct effective training sessions Classroom experience with a focus on truck driving or transportation safety is highly desirable Certifications related to commercial driving or trucking instruction are a plus Join us as an Instructor, CDL A and play a vital role in shaping skilled drivers while advancing your career in transportation education.
