Driving Instructor

We are a mobile driving school that provides door-to-door instruction for students across Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and certified Driving Instructor (or someone willing to become certified) to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Mobile Driving Instructor , you'll provide behind-the-wheel lessons to students of all skill levels throughout the Panhandle. You'll be paid for each lesson you complete and for travel time between lessons . Instructors pick students up and drop them off at their homes for every session.

Compensation:

Base Pay:

$14-19/hour - with Temporary Instructor Certification (Grey Card) $19-25/hour - with Full 5-Year Certification (Blue Card) Paid Travel Time between student lessons.

Pay Period:

Monday-Sunday Payday:

Every Friday (or earlier if Friday falls on a holiday).

Schedule:

Flexible schedule with lessons typically running in 1.5-4 hour increments throughout the day. You set your own availability and routes within the Panhandle area.

Requirements:

Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record Must provide a photo of your driver's license and SSN for onboarding Reliable transportation Willingness to travel within the Panhandle region Certification Steps (if not already certified): Complete a 1-hour DPAS course (required for instructor certification) Get fingerprints done and send your TCN number to Blue Line Complete training with a certified instructor (unpaid, but required to earn your certification)

Duties:

Conduct behind-the-wheel driving lessons for students of various experience levels Teach driving techniques, rules of the road, and safe driving practices Provide supportive, patient, and effective instruction Assess student performance and offer constructive feedback Maintain safety standards and professionalism at all times

Skills & Qualifications:

DITC or DPAS certification (or willingness to obtain one) Strong communication and teaching skills Professional demeanor and reliability Knowledge of Florida traffic laws and safe driving techniques

Additional Details:

This is an independent contractor position. Company vehicles are provided for lessons and should be parked when not in use. If you're passionate about teaching safe driving and want a flexible position with paid travel time, we'd love to hear from you.
