Certified Driving Instructor

10 & 2 Traffic School, a family and veteran friendly company, is seeking a highly motivated individuals In the area, that are interested in being trained and certified as a Driving School Instructor. As a driving school instructor, you will be responsible for providing both theoretical and practical driving lessons to students of all ages and levels of experience. You will help them learn how to operate a vehicle safely and confidently while following industry standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Teach students the fundamentals of driving according to our curriculum framework, including traffic laws, road signs, and defensive driving techniques. Provide in-car training to students of all ages and levels of experience. Use our training materials that track the progress of each individual student. Evaluate student's progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student's attendance, progress, and test results. Ensure the safety and comfort of students during driving lessons. Adhere to industry standards and guidelines for teaching driving skills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or higher education. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no cancellation, suspensions or revocations in the past 3 years) and must pass a FDLE background check. Experience as a driving school instructor or a comparable role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations. Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
