In this role, you will operate various types of commercial vehicles to safely transport passengers, children, or clients to their destinations. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth, reliable service while maintaining excellent communication with passengers and team members. Duties Safely operate buses, school buses, paratransit vehicles, or other commercial vehicles following all traffic laws and safety regulations Transport passengers, including children and seniors, to designated locations with punctuality and professionalism Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed and managing behavior for a positive experience Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records Assist with loading and unloading passengers or cargo when necessary, ensuring safety at all times Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions, concerns, or special needs in a friendly manner Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus or passenger transport Proven experience in bus driving, school bus driving, or similar commercial driving roles Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics Experience working with children or elderly populations preferred; patience and behavior management skills are essential Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs when necessary Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Join our team and drive your career forward by delivering safe, reliable transportation services while making a difference in the lives of those you serve!
