This job requires you to get certified by the state of Louisiana. It will take about 2 - 3 weeks and sometimes more for this. Must be a very patient and calm person as you will be teaching students ( Both Adults and Teenagers) Behind The Wheel training, most who have never been behind the wheel of a vehicle before. A Highschool diploma is required, as is Fingerprints, background check, driving history. Must be at least 26yrs old and have had a drivers license for a minimum of 5 years. Driving history must be clean. No DWI, OWI, DUI, or arrests. This is an hourly paid, W-9 position. Paid training is provided. All out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. This is a veteran owned, Christian family run business that has been open for 6 years. We treat our staff like family. You can set your hours and days as you like, as long as there is an instructor vehicle to drive. I prefer quality over quantity. All cars have cameras that record inside, outside, and voice. You can be evaluated for classroom instructor as well as Behind the Wheel. We teach a lot of foreign students so bilingual applicants are welcome. You must be able to speak English clearly.
