In this role, you will operate commercial vehicles with a Class B license, including motor coaches, shuttle buses, school buses, and delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and secure transportation for passengers and cargo. Your mechanical knowledge and adherence to safety regulations will be vital in maintaining vehicle performance and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation laws. Duties Safely operate Class B vehicles such as motor coaches, school buses, shuttle buses, or delivery trucks in accordance with traffic laws and company policies Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checks on air brakes and mechanical systems Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, seating arrangements, and addressing inquiries professionally Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and vehicle condition in compliance with DOT and state regulations Navigate routes efficiently while adapting to adverse weather conditions or traffic disruptions to ensure on-time arrivals Perform routine maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to keep vehicles in optimal condition Follow all safety protocols during driving operations, including defensive driving techniques and proper communication with dispatch or team members Experience Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with air brake endorsement required Proven experience driving motor coaches, school buses, shuttle vehicles, or similar commercial vehicles Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for troubleshooting minor issues and performing basic maintenance Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and state transportation rules governing commercial driving Experience driving in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, or fog to ensure safety at all times Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and team members Prior delivery driver experience or chauffeur services (e.g., limousine or driver) is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to operate safely under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
