CDL Trainer

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CDL driver to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the next generation of professional truck drivers. As a CDL trainer, you will deliver comprehensive training programs that combine classroom instruction with hands-on driving experience. Your expertise will ensure students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. We have been helping indiviualds in the farm community for the past 5 years obtain a commercial drivers license in just a simple 4 day 20 hour program. Our proven methods will help insure our students and instructors are setup for success day 1 Responsibilities Conduct engaging classroom sessions covering essential topics such as traffic laws, safety regulations, vehicle maintenance, and driving techniques. Provide practical behind-the-wheel training for students in tractor-trailer and truck driving scenarios, emphasizing safe maneuvering and operational skills. Assess student progress through evaluations, feedback, and skill demonstrations to ensure compliance with CDL licensing standards. Maintain detailed records of student attendance, performance, and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements. Stay current on industry regulations including air brake systems, tanker operations, and other specialized endorsements to ensure accurate instruction. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, active participation, and professional growth. Ensure all training activities adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices at all times. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically tractor-trailer or truck driving operations. Prior teaching or adult education experience is highly desirable; classroom experience is a plus however is not required. Strong knowledge of CDL regulations, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct diverse learner groups effectively. Ability to demonstrate patience, motivation, and leadership during training sessions. Commitment to fostering a safe learning environment while promoting responsible driving habits.
