We are excited to announce our two Part-time GED Instructor openings in Newark, NJ and Secaucus, NJ! The GED Instructor is responsible for delivering instruction and tailoring classroom activities in accordance with program requirements and tracks and reports client grades and attendance regularly and accurately in accordance with regulations. The GED Instructor assist clients with personal and professional development goals and create course curriculum and lessons that are appropriate to the grade level and subject matter.

Schedule:

Newark, NJ - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-5pm Secaucus, NJ - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am-4pm Primary Duties and Responsibilities of a

GED Instructor:

Key Responsibilities:

Create course curriculum and lessons that are appropriate to the grade level and subject matter Deliver instruction and tailor classroom activities in accordance with program requirements Refer students to appropriate resources related to personal issues Track and report client grades and attendance regularly and accurately in accordance with regulations Assist clients with personal and professional development goals Build rapport with clients in order to address concerns and monitor learning growth areas Other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on operational/agency needs

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Education or Mathematics, preferred Minimum of 2 years' of relevant GED teaching experience

Specialized Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:

Strong educational planning and organizational ability Good listener Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of security, fire and life-safety standards Familiarity with State and Federal Core Curriculum Content Standards Why Work for Integrity?
