Hourly pay plus commissions and performance incentives, with the opportunity to earn $40,000
  • 50,000+ annually.
Position Overview Calibers Indoor Shooting Centers is seeking enthusiastic and professional Firearms Instructors who are passionate about helping others become safer, more confident shooters. Whether teaching first-time gun owners or experienced shooters, our instructors create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment while delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time instructors to support our Eastside and Westside locations. Candidates interested in a single location are encouraged to apply, though flexibility to teach at both locations is preferred. We believe attitude, professionalism, and a passion for helping others are just as important as certifications, and we are willing to help the right candidates grow and develop within the firearms industry. Responsibilities Teach group classes and private lessons. Deliver safe, professional, and engaging instruction. Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after classes. Promote training programs, private lessons, and memberships through exceptional customer interactions. Help students continue their training journey through additional classes and one-on-one instruction. Support member events, leagues, and special programs. Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for shooters of all experience levels. Arrive prepared and maintain a professional appearance. Support fellow instructors and range staff. Represent Calibers positively both inside and outside the classroom. Minimum Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Ability to pass required background checks. Passion for teaching and helping others succeed. Preferred Qualifications New Mexico Concealed Carry Instructor License preferred. NRA and/or USCCA instructor certifications preferred. Additional firearms-related certifications preferred. Previous teaching, coaching, military, or law enforcement experience. Previous sales, customer service, or relationship-building experience with the ability to confidently upsell and close sales. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Ability and willingness to teach at both Calibers locations preferred. What Success Looks Like Students leave classes feeling safe, confident, and welcomed.
