Requirements 10 years with a New York State driver's license Clean driving record High school or higher education diploma Great people's skills Have basic car maintenance knowledge Be punctual and have great communications skills Work Hours Monday to Friday 12pm to 9pm Responsibilities Conduct structured driving lessons tailored to each learner's skill level, focusing on safety, traffic laws, and vehicle control Assess learners' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving abilities Prepare learners for practical driving exams by simulating test scenarios and reviewing key skills Maintain detailed records of each lesson, including progress reports and areas for improvement Ensure all lessons are conducted in compliance with local traffic laws and safety regulations Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their driving goals Stay updated on current driving laws, best practices, and training techniques to deliver high-quality instruction Experience Previous experience as a driving instructor is not required Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of diverse backgrounds Demonstrated knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle operation Experience working with learners from various age groups, including university students or recent graduates is a plus Ability to remain patient, energetic, and professional in all instructional interactions This exciting opportunity is perfect for passionate individuals eager to share their expertise and help others gain independence behind the wheel.
