Jamie O'Brien Surf Experience is looking to hire part time surf instructors, and photographers for the 2026

• 2027 season and beyond at our location at the Montauk Yacht Club.

Premium Montauk Surf School seeking qualified Surf Instructors, and Photographers. Ideal candidates will be skilled and enthusiastic water people with instructor and/or customer service experience based/living on or near the Montauk Yacht Club who can deliver exceptional customer service on par with partner resort's 5 star standard. High energy and passionate about the ocean, team members will be the face of our surf school and be responsible for teaching standardized, premium surf lessons to thousands of guests from all walks of life with enthusiasm and patience. Professionalism and punctuality are must haves, we are looking for excellence both in and out of the water. Qualifications (Preferred)

• Lifelong skilled Surfer and/or 2+ years of surf/ocean

INSTRUCTOR

• Red Cross CPR/AED Certified

COMPENSATION

• Contractor position
• $100 per lesson (based on experience and availability)
• Tips (Not pooled)
