Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM

Champion Learning Center, a 5-Star Step Up to Quality, Ohio-licensed program, is seeking an energetic, dependable, and engaging School Age Summer Lead Teacher/Driver to lead our 2026 Summer Program. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with school-age children, enjoys creating engaging experiences, and can provide strong supervision while maintaining a safe, structured, and fun environment throughout the summer.
What You'll Do:
As our School Age Summer Lead Teacher/Driver, you will:
  • Lead and supervise daily summer program activities for school-age children
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities, games, enrichment projects, and group discussions
  • Create a fun, structured, and positive environment where children feel safe and supported
  • Actively supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, field trips, and transitions
  • Transport children safely to and from field trips and activities using company vehicles
  • Maintain attendance records, ratios, and daily documentation
  • Build positive relationships with families, children, and team members
  • Support behavior management and reinforce program expectations consistently
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of program spaces and vehicles
What We're Looking For:

  • Loves working with school-age children
  • Is energetic, patient, and highly engaging
  • Can lead large groups while maintaining structure and safety
  • Is dependable, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Enjoys field trips, activities, and hands-on learning experiences
  • Understands the importance of active supervision at all times
Qualifications Required:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate a childcare transport vehicle
  • Experience working with school-age children
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills
Preferred:
  • Previous summer camp, childcare, or school-age program experience
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Additional RequirementsPass ODJFS background check
  • Current physical
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
