Non-Exempt Summary of the
Position:
The Instructor assists with Supported Employment through the OVR program for the summer program. Daytime hours are required to support youth during the summer work programming. Instructor will contact and meet with area employers to establish relationships. Develop supportive relationships with participants. Help prepare employment proposals and negotiate job opportunities. Ensure compliance. Assist with development of job readiness skills and interviewing skills. This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is preferred. High School or GED required with minimum one year of paid experience working with young adults. Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources. Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
