We're passionate about vocational careers and giving our students the tools to build fulfilling, high-earning careers. We're investing heavily in growth, operations, marketing, and new prospecting cycles, and we're now looking for our main HVAC instructor at our Tampa campus ! This role will serve as the on-the-ground manager of our Tampa school, as well as the Lead Instructor for that location. If you have a deep understanding of HVAC, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong management capability — and you want to run an educational program that truly impacts students' lives — this may be the perfect opportunity. About SFAAC We offer full-time courses (Monday-Friday) that run for 4 weeks . We also offer weekend courses (Saturday-Sunday) that run for 4 weekends . We currently operate six courses per year (3 full-time and 3 weekend). We are launching a 16-week online program , with the final 4 weeks completed as in-person, on-campus practicum . You'll be joining a supportive, growth-oriented environment where you can influence the next generation of HVAC technicians by providing real-world, hands-on experience. Duties and Responsibilities Lead the delivery of our full educational course and oversee all related operations alongside a well-established back-office team and a newly hired instructor group. Follow existing course outlines and contribute to developing new course objectives and evaluation mechanisms. Monitor assistant instructors' performance and maintain effective communication. Oversee equipment and supply inventory. Maintain professional expertise. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years HVAC field experience . Teaching experience is required. Managerial or directive experience is a strong plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hardworking, dependable, and committed to student success. Ability to deliver verbal lectures, hands-on training, and demonstrations. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, walk, bend, lift, reach with hands and arms, and stoop.
