Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
A High-angle, Hazmat, or Confined Space Rescue Instructor at SET Rescue & Safety, a division of SET Environmental is responsible to: Establish key objectives for classes Facilitate curriculum to accomplish the set objectives Develop or follow a syllabus that outlines topics and skills that will be beneficial to the student in their occupation Make lesson plans that describe how information will be presented Give lectures and organize activities to present material and deepen understanding of coursework Create and observe scenarios that test students' knowledge Answer students' questions and provide support to help them succeed Record students' attendance and involvement Maintain safety policies and practices throughout the delivery of the course Demonstrate all skills prior to allowing students to perform the skills in a scenario Additional duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
2+ year of instructor experience preferred Instructor 1 or
OSHA 501
Trainer for General Industry certification preferred Proficient understanding of OSHA and NFPA regulations Knowledge and understanding of working in the emergency response industry Completed a significant number of hours of in person training as a lead instructor. Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
