Position Overview:
Little Dojo is seeking motivated young adults to join our Talent & Leadership Pipeline as a Part-Time Coach, with a structured pathway toward becoming a Lead Little Dojo Instructor within preschool and early childhood school environments.
This position combines employment, professional training, and leadership development, preparing selected candidates to deliver our early childhood movement and character education program in daycares, preschools, and kindergartens.
This is not a temporary childcare position — it is a structured developmental role with growth opportunities.
About Little Dojo:
Little Dojo is an educational enrichment program implemented directly inside daycares, preschools, and kindergartens, serving children ages 2-6 years old. Through structured movement, positive discipline, and character-based routines, the program strengthens:
- Self-regulation and focus
- Motor skill development
- Classroom behavior
- Emotional control
- Confidence and discipline
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and gradually lead structured classes for children ages 2-6
- Support classroom management using positive leadership techniques
- Follow lesson plans and structured program methodology
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
- Model professionalism, responsibility, and positive behavior
- Participate in required internal training sessions
- Communicate effectively with school staff and Little Dojo leadership Professional Growth Pathway Selected candidates will enter the Little Dojo Leadership Track, progressing through:
1. Assistant Coach
2. Structured Training & Evaluation
3. Co-Instructor
4. Lead Instructor (assigned school location) High-performing candidates may grow into:
- School Program Lead
- New Location Implementation Leader
Regional Leadership Support Education and Preferred Qualifications:
- Must 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED
- Interest in education, kinesiology, psychology, child development, social work, or leadership
- Strong communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work with young children in structured environments
Must be able to pass a background check which will be conducted by employer
