Before & After Care Teacher

Summary Warwick River Christian, a faith-based learning center, is currently seeking a part-time employee to join our team. Available positions include working with school-age children in a supportive and engaging environment. Applicants with previous childcare experience are preferred; however, individuals who have a passion for working with children are strongly encouraged to apply. There may also be opportunities for full-time employment during our Summer Camp Program. Duties Supervise school-age children during Before and After Care and on non-school days. Possibility of full-time employment during the summer. Working with preschoolers in an age-appropriate learning environment. Maintain a clean classroom. Maintain a calm environment conducive to learning. Work as a team with other staff members Plan activities appropriate for the age group you are working with. Requirements Need the energy and personality appropriate to work with and care for children 2.5 to 13 years old. Successfully complete a full background check. Commitment to personal ongoing professional development. Nice To Haves First Aid and CPR certification MAT training CDA Commercial driver's license Benefits Benefits dependent upon position offered.
