Overview Are you passionate about guiding others and sharing your knowledge? As a Driving Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping aspiring drivers develop the skills, confidence, and safety awareness needed to navigate the roads successfully. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to inspire learners of all ages, from teenagers to adults, while fostering responsible driving habits. Your expertise will directly impact road safety and contribute to building confident, responsible drivers for the future. Duties Deliver engaging and comprehensive driving lessons tailored to individual student needs Assess students' driving skills and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience Prepare students for official driving tests by reviewing road rules, safety procedures, and practical skills Maintain detailed records of each lesson, progress reports, and student evaluations Ensure all lessons are conducted in a safe, supportive environment that promotes confidence and skill development Communicate clearly with students about expectations, safety protocols, and driving techniques Stay updated on local traffic laws and best practices to ensure instruction remains current and compliant Qualifications Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a classroom or one-on-one setting Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently Classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment Experience working with diverse age groups, including children and adults Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety standards, and licensing requirements Ability to motivate and engage students while fostering a safe learning atmosphere Valid Vermont driving instructor certification or license Join us as a Driving Instructor and make a lasting impact by empowering learners to become confident, responsible drivers.
