Lecturer applicant pool for Summer 2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct lectures and training in the Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies program & Master of Arts in Teaching program, to include clinical experiences Maintain a minimum of one (1) office hour per week for each course taught, up to 5 hours per week. Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress. May include assignments involving field supervision to assess performance and progress by teacher candidates.

Hawai'i Schools Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education or a related field from an accredited College or University or any combination of education/training/experience that equates to this credential for the purposes of providing instruction (e.g. Bachelor's degree with relevant certifications or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the appropriate subject area) Potential or demonstrated ability to teach courses within the discipline of
Education Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience at the college or university level or in a K-12 educational setting Demonstrated ability to work effectively with college age students in an educational setting Evidence of ability to teach effectively Ph.D. or Ed.

D. degree in Education or a related field from an accredited
