Job Description

Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Professional opportunity for an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support elementary school students in Cypress, TX. This full-time, itinerant contract position offers the chance to work collaboratively within a dynamic school district from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027. The role requires in-person availability and a strong commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' educational needs. Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, collaborating with school teams to develop individualized education plans. Manage caseloads across multiple campuses, focusing primarily on elementary-aged students. Work within district guidelines and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification is mandatory. Several years of experience as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas public schools preferred. Strong understanding of educational assessment tools and processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to complete district-required fingerprint/background check.
Location:
Cypress, Texas, with itinerant assignments across multiple elementary schools.
