Job Description

Job Description Overview The College of Pharmacy is hiring for a Student Services Coordinator for Academic Programs . This role provides comprehensive academic advising and support to professional (PharmD), undergraduate (Drug and Biopharmaceutical Sciences), graduate (MS and PhD), and dual-degree students, including mid-semester advising, degree progress monitoring, and course registration assistance. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive academic advising and support to professional (PharmD), undergraduate (Drug and Biopharmaceutical Sciences), graduate (MS and PhD), and dual-degree students, including mid-semester advising, degree progress monitoring, and course registration assistance. Coordinate early intervention, early alert, academic probation, academic integrity, and student success initiatives; monitor student contracts and support retention efforts. Collaborate with internal and external offices and partners (e.g., Academic Coaching, Counseling, and International Programs) to support academic, personal, and compliance-related student needs. Support onboarding, orientation, welcome events, and program-related activities for undergraduate, graduate, professional, and international students, including Camp War Eagle, SOS, and Peer Coaching. Conduct DegreeWorks audits, degree verifications, and assist with Dean's List and academic recognition processes. Provide education to faculty, staff, and students on advising processes, policies, and student success resources; assist with policy development as needed. Serve on professional and institutional committees and maintain current knowledge of advising and counseling best practices.

Bachelor's degree•no specific discipline 0 years of experience in advising and/or coordinating student services or experience related to the specific academic area
Level II:
Bachelor's degree•no specific discipline 2 years of experience in advising and/or coordinating student services or experience related to the specific academic area
Level III:
Bachelor's degree•no specific discipline 4 years of experience in advising and/or coordinating student services or experience related to the specific academic area
License and Certification:
Valid in state driver's license, upon hire required Substitutions Allowed for
Experience:
