Responsibilities include supervising staff, supporting student achievement and intervention programs, coordinating guidance and testing services, managing schedules and operational functions, and fostering effective communication among students, staff, parents, and the community. Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
  • Appropriate Administrative Credential
  • Successful secondary experience (teaching and/or administrative)
  • Successful leadership experience, such as serving in one or more of the following roles: Counselor, assistant principal, department chairperson, TOSA, support provider, summer school administrator, and administrative interim.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • A thorough understanding of the complexities of a high school program
  • Successful administrative and counseling experience
  • Conversant in Spanish
  • Master's Degree - preferably in school administration
  • An understanding of
WASC/SDE
accreditation
  • Strong background in effective instructional practices and staff development In addition to the EdJoin application, please submit a letter of intent, resume, and minimum of 3 letters of recommendation written within one year.
