Management Position Overview Bellflower Unified School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Elementary Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. The Assistant Principal will assist the Principal in providing instructional leadership, supporting student success, and ensuring a positive school climate. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-achieving school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school policies, procedures, and programs aligned with district, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide instructional leadership by supporting teachers with curriculum implementation, professional development, and classroom management strategies.
  • Monitor student achievement and use data to drive instructional decisions and interventions.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive school environment that promotes positive behavior, social-emotional learning, and student engagement.
  • Assist in supervising and evaluating faculty and staff to support professional growth and instructional excellence.
  • Oversee student discipline, attendance, and conflict resolution processes in collaboration with school personnel and families.
  • Coordinate and support school-wide initiatives, events, and extracurricular activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, community members, and district administrators.
  • Assist in managing school operations, including budgeting, facilities maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
