This project will provide collaborative hands-on experience in all aspects of video production, including concept development, scripting/planning, filming, editing, and post-production. Develop a creative video concept for approval by the Superintendent or designee. Coordinate and conduct filming at designated CUSD schools using school production equipment/software. Prerequisites:
Candidates must be CUSD high school students enrolled in a Film & Television Production III class (or equivalent) for the 2026-27 school year. Students in less advanced classes may be considered with a teacher recommendation. Candidates must be available for a pre-planning meeting with the Superintendent or designee over the summer. Candidates are encouraged (but not required) to submit a digital portfolio or representative videography sample with their application. Candidates must be able to provide a work permit, new hire paperwork, and complete mandated reporter training.
