EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education, Teaching, or related fields (Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling). 3-5 years of experience in special education or an educational leadership/case management role.
PREFERRED
Valid California Administrative Services Credential. Master's Degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or Educational Leadership. Prior experience working with foster, homeless, or at-risk youth populations. KTEA Assessment Training and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
TB Clearance or Risk Assessment (Ed.
Code 49406) Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Backgrounds Clearance(Ed. Code 44237). Valid CA Driver's License (This position requires travel to/between BPEA sites; Required to have access to a vehicle and the physical ability to drive) Credential, Transcripts, and Resume are required with application.
