$23.00/hr Lancer Accessibility Resource Services (LARS) is seeking a dependable, service-oriented professional to provide testing accommodation support and front desk coverage. Under the general direction of the Dean of Student Wellness & Support Services or Director of Lancer Accessibility Resource Services (LARS) office, and in collaboration with full-time LARS staff, this position supports students with disabilities by coordinating and proctoring accommodated exams and performing essential front office and clerical functions within a confidential accessibility services environment.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer service or administrative support in an educational, disability services, or student services environment
  • Proctor exams for students with approved accommodations, ensuring a secure and supportive testing environment.
  • Implement accommodations such as extended time, assistive technology, and alternative exam formats.
  • Serve as the front desk point of contact; greet visitors, answer phones, respond to emails, and assist students, faculty, and staff.
  • Schedule and monitor student appointments and exams using campus systems.
  • Create, maintain, and manage confidential student records in compliance with FERPA and ADA requirements.
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, scanning, filing, and document processing.
  • Communicate accommodation information professionally with appropriate faculty and staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support LARS operations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • One (1) year of customer service or administrative support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
