We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, we prepare approximately 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. The multitude of cultures, ethnic groups, and languages makes Mount Pleasant School District a rich atmosphere in which to learn, grow, and work. Job Summary Job Summary Administers, coordinates and plans the development, allocation, and reporting of complex financial activities for the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) programs and school districts; advises and serves as expert resource to SELPA and school district administrators on special education financial and business related matters. Prepares and distributes a wide variety of financial reports including the allocation and disbursement of Special Education funding; performs all other job related duties. Experience in Special Education finance preferred.
