2026-2027, 215 Calendar Position Summary The Achievement Coach Coordinator serves a dual role by leading the district's instructional coaching and induction programs while providing direct coaching support at the high school level. This position oversees all district achievement coaches to ensure a cohesive, high-impact coaching framework is implemented across all schools. Additionally, the Coordinator directs the district-wide new teacher induction program and partners directly with high school teachers and administration to deliver high-quality instruction. The ideal candidate uses data-driven strategies, proven leadership experience, and pedagogical expertise to foster professional growth and improve student outcomes district-wide. Key Responsibilities District Coaching Coordination & Leadership Oversee, guide, and support all K-12 Achievement Coaches across the district to ensure consistent, high-quality coaching practices Develop and facilitate ongoing professional development and training specifically for the district coaching team Collaborate with building principals and district leadership to align coaching goals with individual school improvement plans and district-wide initiatives Induction Program Management Design, implement, and oversee the district's new teacher induction program Coordinate classroom mentoring, guidance, and required professional development for all initial licensed educators in the district Ensure state and district requirements for teacher induction and licensure advancement are met High School Instructional Coaching Provide side-by-side support to high school teachers through modeling, co-teaching, and classroom observation Offer constructive, growth-oriented feedback to refine high school teaching practices Assist high school teachers in implementing differentiated instruction and formative assessment strategies Alignment & Implementation Ensure district-adopted best first instructional practices are consistently delivered across all classrooms Align classroom and coaching strategies with the Portrait of a Graduate and district academic standards Data-Driven Growth Analyze district-wide and school-level student performance data to inform coaching deployments and instructional shifts Work with coaches and high school teachers to identify and support strategies to close achievement gaps Other Duties Perform additional duties as assigned by the CAO and/or high school principal to support district initiatives and student achievement Minimum Qualifications Education Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field required Experience Demonstrated track record of improving student outcomes for all students and leading adult learners/staff School-based administration experience strongly preferred Minimum 5 years of successful K-12 classroom teaching experience strongly preferred Experience or strong desire to train and coach teachers on standards based project based learning Licensure Valid Colorado Teaching License required Colorado Principal/Administrator License strongly preferred Technical Skills Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional coaching frameworks, and induction standards Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with building leaders Deep understanding of differentiated instruction, formative assessment, and data-driven decision making Familiarity with 21st-century skills, STEM initiatives, and Project-Based Learning Supervisory Responsibilities Coordinates and provides daily oversight/guidance to the district team of Achievement Coaches; works collaboratively with high school building staff and district administration.Work Environment:
This is a school based position; however, this position operates in a dynamic environment, splitting time between the central office, the high school setting, and various schools across the district to support coaches and teachers. Collaboration with school leaders and district staff is essential.Typical noise level:
