Come discover what makes Lewis-Palmer School District such a rewarding place to learn, grow, and belong. Lewis-Palmer Elementary School is hiring for a principal for the 2026-2027 school year. The principal is responsible for academic excellence and personal growth of every student, through effective leadership. Candidate will organize school operations around improvement of instruction by maintaining a safe and orderly environment, upholding state laws, contracts and District Policies. This position manages personnel, maintains the facility to provide a quality learning environment, efficiently manages financial and facility resources, establishes effective public relationships, and coordinates effective instructional programs with a master schedule. Master's degree in Educational Leadership or a related field, plus any additional coursework required for certification or licensure required and at least five (5) years of successful elementary school teaching experience (preferred). Successful elementary school leadership experience is require and experience as a principal is preferred. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Standards-Based Education and familiarity with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) as a model for continuous school improvement. Compensation Range for this position will be $102,660 - $113,028. To apply, please complete the online application. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. The employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
