The Albertus Magnus College Division of Student Affairs is seeking a Coordinator for International Student Services and Engagement (CISSE)to serve as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO). The CISSE is the main point of contact for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), and is responsible for full compliance of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), including the tracking and maintenance records within SEVIS. They will collaborate with the college's Designated School Official (DSOs) with the reporting of statistical data to federal agencies and international educational organizations. This position is also responsible for coordinating engagement activities of deposited and matriculated International and non-international Students.Qualifications Essential Functions:
Carry out the responsibilities of a PDSO including maintaining records in the SEVIS system Collaborate with the undergraduate and graduate admission offices, providing oversight of the F-1 visa international student process, including managing and analyzing documentation; issuing required immigration documents; advising these students and maintaining up-to-date, accurate records Advise, review, and process student applications for CPT (Curricular Practical Training) and OPT (Optional Practical Training) in compliance with SEVIS and institutional policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and files for all international student status Work closely with international students, their families, and sponsors to provide comprehensive guidance and support regarding all aspects of the entry process and arrival on campus, including obtaining lawful entry into the U.S. upon obtaining admission within the chosen programs of study Coordinate Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) documentation for F-1 visa international students from initial application through graduation or separation from the College Conduct an International New Student Orientation at the beginning of each semester as well as a pre-arrival orientation to prepare incoming international students before they arrive on campus Develop and execute social programs for international students throughout the academic year to foster a sense of belonging and assimilation to the United States and the Albertus community Serve as a resource for international Students, connecting them to the appropriate offices and community partners as needed Work closely with professors and advisers to ensure academic compliance per visa requirements Design and implement Designated School Official (DSO) training materials and workshops Supervise and train international student Orientation Leaders and Peer Mentors for International students Recommend and maintain an annual budget for international student's programming and activities Utilize retention strategies to ensure our international students grow and thrive Monitor student academic progress throughout the academic year Represent the college at events such as New Student Orientation, Open House, Accepted Student Day, and various community events Participate on various campus wide committees Assist with planning and execution of large-scale programs, campus traditions and annual events put on by the student engagement office Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:

The Coordinator for International Students and Student Engagement must have the ability to deliver a high level of interactive customer service, develop and maintain collaborative relationships, and possess strong organizational skills.The ideal candidate will have:
Well-developed intercultural competencies accompanied by superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in English to support international student engagement and advising. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of Office Applications, presentation software, as well as enterprise resource systems Strong commitment to customer service and student success Ability to work well within a team environment to ensure the management of multiple projects concurrently with a high level of accuracy Ability to work with staff at all levels within a diverse, multi-cultural, collaborative environmentWork Schedule Requirements :

Full-time employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-time employees can earn between 18-23 paid time off a year. The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees responsible for books and technology fees). The college is committed to work-life balance and has a summer schedule from June through August. We currently have 14 paid holidays, including a winter break. You will have the opportunity to participate in our retirement plan from day one, and after one year of employment, the college contributes depending on your service years.
