Summary:
The Undergraduate Enrollment Assistant will support the SIS Undergraduate Program office's recruitment and enrollment activities. This is a federal work-study position with a schedule that will vary across the semester, with a maximum of 10 hours per week.
Essential Functions:
Communications development. Data entry. Event marketing. Program representation at Enrollment events (candidates must be available on most, if not all, of these dates for events: 10/12/26, 11/6/26, 2/13/27, 2/28/27, 3/26/27, 4/3/27, 4/11/27, 4/23/27). Meeting with prospective students. Leading tours of the SIS building for prospective students. Other duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time. 10 hours per week.
Salary Range:
$18.40 - $18.50 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Current SIS undergraduate student with a work study award. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in multicultural environments. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Customer Service focus is essential. Comfortable moving event tables/chairs and able to lift 25 pounds.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous experience working at AU campus office. Knowledge of Canva. Other Details This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
