ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
The successful candidate will provide the leadership necessary to promote a rigorous and comprehensive instructional program that ensures the academic, social, and emotional success of a diverse student body of students in an elementary school setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent human relations skills. Outstanding personal and professional integrity. Demonstrates the ability to be an instructional leader in core subject areas. Supports teachers during high-quality professional development in literacy and mathematics. Passionate about teaching and learning for all students. Valid NYS certification as School Administrator & Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL) required. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant school teaching experience grades K-6. Thorough knowledge of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Standards & NYS Assessments. Experience with using student management systems. Experience implementing socio-emotional skills education. Successful experience integrating technology initiatives to increase student achievement and engagement aimed at developing 21st-century skills in students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders, including parents, teachers, staff, and community, in supporting student success.
