Job Description
Schedule 2 days from 10am-7pm 2 days from 11am-8pm Fridays from 9am-6pm The Career Services Clerk provides administrative support to the Career Services Department and offers career‑related assistance to students and alumni. This role supports career events, data management, daily office operations, and collaborates closely with Student Services. The ideal candidate is organized, student‑focused, proactive, and bilingual (English/Spanish). Key Responsibilities Support Student Orientation and maintain communication with students throughout their program. Assist with campus events such as Open House, Career Day, recruitment events, and graduations. Support resume workshops, exit interviews, and career‑readiness activities. Help track, document, and report graduate employment outcomes and success stories. Update job postings and manage the job database. Assist with Work Study documentation (Federal Work Study knowledge preferred). Support OAC meeting preparation and accreditation‑related documentation. Provide general office support and student engagement assistance. Cutler Bay Campus Additional Duties Create certificates and monthly campus activity calendars. Maintain community resources binder and coordinate student activities. Support student ambassador and wellness programs (housing, food banks, etc.). Assist with campus marketing/social media content (photos/videos). Keep student boards updated and support campus referral and Google review initiatives. Help with safety drills and campus‑wide events and decorations. Requirements High School Diploma required; 2+ years in an administrative support role preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, data entry, and general computer applications. Strong organization, prioritization, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle a fast‑paced environment. Ability to interact with diverse student populations. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office setting with regular student and staff interaction. May lift up to 25 lbs; frequent standing, walking, and computer work.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:
