Job Description

University Student Services & Registrar Director Who we are: We are a private, postsecondary business school committed to academic excellence and the development of ethical leaders, change-makers, capable of addressing the complex challenges of our rapidly evolving global society.

Who we are looking for:
A professional with experience at the university level, to fill the position of Student Services & Registrar Director . This role guides students throughout their academic journey while managing the university's official academic records with accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with Admissions, Academic Affairs, and Administration to advance our mission and deliver exceptional student support.
Flexible modality:
1099 trial period, then W-2. What you'll do: Student Services Guide students in meeting graduation requirements and achieving academic and career goals. Support registration, orientation, and transfer‑credit processes. Provide individualized academic and career coaching, including follow‑up with at‑risk students. Apply retention strategies to promote persistence and student success. Maintain accurate advising documentation and prepare progress reports. Foster a supportive, resource‑rich environment that enhances student engagement. Registrar Maintain accurate, secure academic records in compliance with FERPA. Manage transcripts, grades, program changes, withdrawals, and graduation clearances. Oversee registration workflows, academic calendars, and coordination with Academic Affairs. Ensure proper documentation for credit transfers, degree audits, and academic standing. Support institutional reporting, audits, and state compliance requirements. Maintain SOPs for academic records and ensure alignment with institutional policies. General Duties Deliver exceptional service to students, faculty, and staff. Collaborate across university units to support seamless student progression. Perform additional related duties as assigned.. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Education, or a related field; Master's preferred. Bilingual (Spanish & English). Spanish fluency is a
MUST . 2-4
years of proven experience in academic advising, student services, registrar operations, or related higher‑education roles. Knowledge of degree requirements, academic policies, and compliance regulations (including FERPA). Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and student information systems.
Nice-to-haves :
