Description:

Serve as active member of administrative and building leadership teams Oversee and assist staff, parents, and school operations and maintenance, crisis and safety plans Provide leadership and problem solving assistance for individual students, parents, and staff in regards to attendance and discipline Collaborate with counselors, social workers, teachers and other staff members to support and encourage positive behavior, daily attendance, and support for standardized assessments Assist with the interpretation of school policies and procedures for students, parents, staff and community members Provide supervision for students throughout the regular school day and at dances, assemblies, and extra-curricular events Maintain confidentiality of private, protected information when interacting with students, parents, staff and community members Maintain a strong level of knowledge regarding educational law, best practices as it pertains to managing a caseload of general education and special education students. Principal Qualifications:

State of Illinois Professional Educator License registered in Will County General Administrative or Principal endorsement Minimum of 5 years of previous administrative or teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred Familiarity with the Danielson Framework for evaluation and certified as an evaluator using the state approves modules
