Job Description

Title:
Director After School Program (Flipside) Reports to:
Lower School Principal Purpose:
Provides leadership, development and coordination of the After School (Flipside) for North Cobb Christian School.
Mission:

Bachelor Degree Certification/License Required:
Must be certified in
CPR and First Aid Experience:
3 years experience working in school age after school programs with progressive responsibilities including experience in a supervisory role.
Physical Activities:
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong customer service skills Oral and written communication skills Instructional strategies that connect curriculum/activities to students Discipline and student management Hands on experience with utilizing data to make informed decisions Personal commitment to service and hospitality Working knowledge of computer based programs such as but not limited to the Google Platform.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruits, trains, develops schedules, supervises and evaluates the after school. Reviews and approves staff time sheets. Develops, plans and manages best practices through engagement of the staff. Ensures that required materials, supplies and equipment are available. Implements appropriate procedures for severe weather, fire, accidents, fights, personnel conflicts, etc. Communicate with parents as needed. Fosters a climate of innovation and excitement. Effectively manages the after school budget. Holds staff accountable for high quality results using a formal process to measure progress and quality programming. Cultivates, supports and expands partnerships between teachers and families to best support all students. Collaboratively works with Lower School Principal to ensure coordination, communication, marketing and space for students participating in our after school. Ensures the program complies with all applicable laws, regulations and accreditation requirements. In attendance whenever programs or services are provided. Performs additional duties as assigned by administration including possible scheduling and organizational support for summer camp.

Hours :
Monday - Friday 10:40 a.m. - 6:40 p.m. with some exceptions 10 month employee Benefits include medical & dental plan, retirement plan and tuition discount.
