SUPERVISOR
Director of Enrollment Management & Associate Dean of Health
BASIC FUNCTION
Facilitating office functions for enrollment and execute the simulation technology functions for the health care division.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required - Work experience that supports excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and marketing skills. Computer and customer service skills. Minimum of Associate Arts Degree Preferred - Experience in student affairs/student services or community college work. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Previous experience in a healthcare or simulation setting. This position is composed of two part time positions combined into one full time role. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage Communication Management to prospective, applicant, and accepted students. 2. Answer telephone and furnish information to caller. 3. Confirm campus visit appointments for student tours, reserve the visit room, reserve a vehicle when needed, and inform the appropriate program instructors and/or coach of each appointment 4. Assist supervisor with reports, correspondence, and other materials requested by supervisor. 5. Assist with organizing special event days (visit days, orientation, open house, etc.) 6. Manage materials for the Enrollment Office by keeping the office stocked with the necessary documents for campus visits and acceptances. 7. Assists with preparation of recruiter travel 8. Assist in managing the files, current student, applicant student, and cancel student. 9. Be familiar with the certification, diploma, and degree programs of Northwest Iowa Community College. 10. Be familiar with Northwest Iowa Community College policies and procedures for admission, financial aid, etc. 11. Promote and maintain open communication with all college constituents. 12. Represent the College outside of the campus community. 13. Actively participate in college committees. 14. Perform other duties as assigned. Simulation Assistant

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Order and maintain all equipment and supplies relating to audio/visual and simulation equipment. 2. Ensure simulators, computers, and audio/visual equipment is ready and in working order for Simulation Center faculty. 3. Oversee equipment setup and breakdown including simulators, audio/visual technology, and supplies. 4. Prepare documents and scenario supplies prior to each healthcare simulation experience. 5. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulators and medical equipment (IV pumps). 6. Maintenance and repair of audio/visual equipment, medical equipment, manikins, and simulation equipment. 7. Prepare and apply moulage to standardized patients and simulators. 8. Restock rooms and clean simulation equipment after each scenario session. 9. Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed during simulation sessions. 10. Ensure that simulator software updates are programmed each semester. 11. Work collaboratively with faculty and staff from Nursing and Allied Health education programs to ensure all equipment and manikins are in working order prior to simulation. 12. Assist Associate Dean of Health with developing and implementing simulation scenarios, technology, and solutions for healthcare partners. 13. Manage medication inventory within the Pyxis machine to match simulation scenarios. 14. Assist in orientation of students, faculty, and staff to the Simulation Center. 15. Attend departmental meetings when requested. 16. Assist with tours and demonstrations in the Simulation Center. 17. Represent the college in a positive, professional manner with all colleagues and staff. 18. Knowledge of current simulation hardware and software. 19. Knowledge of current practices and other related health areas required. 20. Assume responsibility, deal effectively with problems, and exercise independent judgment when making decisions. 21. Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, staff, administrators, and other contacts. 22. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals of varying backgrounds and personalities. 23. Be an energetic and self-motivated individual with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills. 24. Possess a working knowledge of personal computers and educational media equipment. 25. Perform other duties as assigned.
WAGE/SALARY RANGE
Dependent on education and experience.
